hey tubacuba if u need any help with burning ps2 games jus ask me i know how to do pretty much anything burning ps2 games...ok so u want to burn ps2 games then you will need iso buster and dvd decrypter which i already see u hav dvd dycrypter. so first of all u need to download iso buster once u hav done that.create 2 files for example if the games name is need for speed make a folder callled need for speed and another file called need for speed.1 or sumthin like tht.insert ur ps2 game into ur dvd burner then open up dvd decrypter then decrypt the ps2 game to 1 of the files then you jus made. once decrypted open up the file u saved the game in then open up the mds dvd image and it wil open iso buster with all the ps2 games files in it.

now open up the other file u made for the game then simply drag the files from iso buster into the file u created NOTE: MAKE SURE THAT THE FILES ARE IN THE EXACT ORDER IN THE FILE AS THEY ARE IN ISO BUSTER.

then close iso buster because iso buster is no longer needed.so open up nero ovisouly make sur u hav cliked on dvd then make it a DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO) it is the last one on the list then click new.

find the file u hav saved the game in where u dragged all the files into then drag all the files from that folder to the colum in the far left.in the order they are in nero will make files sometimes go in the right colum that doesn't matter once u hav done that clik burn.

Make sure u set the burning speed to x4 if it is faster than that sometimes it makes a bit of a dodgy copy......

YOU SHOULD NOW HAV A PERFECT COPY OF A GAME

IF THIS DOES NOT HELP OR MAKE SENSE IN ANY WAY WELL THEN SEND ME A EMAIL OR WE COULD TALK ON SOME INSTANT MESSENGER? ?

just to answer the actual question. nero will not backup copy protected games. you must first use another program like dvd decryptor to make an image of the game first. you can use nero to burn the image you make if you desire.

You're on the right track, download free 21 day trial of AnyDVD and have that running when you use NeroRecode to back up your games.
