copying star trek tos

    ive done the first six discs fine but the 7th has defeated decrypter \fab decrypter and trial version of any dvd keep getting unrecoverered read errors

    please help

    Hi there,

    Maybe the disk is dirty / scratched.

    I usually use a little bit of warm water and paper towel to start with. Helped me to remove fingerprints etc...

    See if this helps.

    If it's really scratched, maybe someone else has some idea on how to fix it !

    i.ve been using disk doctor to repair and clean problem dvd's.So far it has been very successful on making them readable.I got it at compusa for about 25 dollars.well worth it.you may want to give it a try.good luck

    i have dvd rescue it got up to4.03gb to go but said it would take 1400minutes that wasafter trying for 3 hours,

    sorry about the double posting i got distracted and thought i had deleted it

    gave the offending disc a good clean then used good old decrypter but nero record got no further than compiling volume just hung then used good old shrink and bobs your auntie
    done it
