    Hello everyone..

I haven't seen this question asked on this site, so I guess I'll pose the question as I personally want to persue trying it myself..

I want to go to a web based tv site (let's say CBS.COM and click on their site called "inner-tube".. A WMP/Real Player monitor pops up, you click on an episode of a past CBS broadcast and it plays back, close to comercial free on your computer.. After viewing what I want, I want to go into my cache folder and save the cache file for the video/audio (if that's possible to do) and then make a DVD of it for my private collection..

I have Win98SE & Win-XP (on a dual boot setup) and I have all the various programs: DVD-Shrink, VOB-Blanker, DVD4Free and a few others (as per recommended by the various contributing members on this site.. Thanks, by the way)... I just need someone with the know-how and/or experience to outline the steps on how to do it..

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.. I would have normally used my Sony EV-S3000 Hi-8mm deck to record the shows and just record it through my DVD-Recorder, but I missed the first several episodes and was hoping to find a way to get them via this method..

    Thanks again..

    Respectfully,

    Dr Bites..

I don't know where the cache folder would be, but you can maybe try steambox vcr. It was removed from this site, so you will have to do a search on the net.
