is there a way to copy xbox games? i've looked on the internet and short of modding your xbox there's no software that will copy the discs directly.

@adventx, if you ask this in the X BOX forum you may get an answer sooner, I will ask to have it shifted.

    Of course there is
Nope, you can't just stick an original factory pressed xbox game in your computer drive and copy it. You [bold]can[/bold] copy a copied disc with just your computer. A copied xbox game isn't going to do you any good unless you have a modified xbox to play it on.

well, there really is no simple way, there is a lot you
will have to read up on. Here are some things to get you started.
Read the FTP tutorials and the setting up for connection sharing.

since the PC DVD drive can not read Xbox discs it makes it a bit
more complicated than PS2. But once you get it set up i is not
    that bad.
With a modded Xbox the easiest way to do it is to upgrade your HDD
to a 200-300GB size, then use something like DVD2Xbox
This program will copy strait off the original to the HDD on
the Xbox. If you want it on another disc then FTP is the only way i know. For FTP'ing you will need to buy a Cat5 cable (crossover cable)
but that should be all you need other than to read the tutorials i
mentioned on how to set it all up.
