is their a difference between the 55" costco sxrd for $1500 with stand and the 55" from BB thats 2000 without the stand. whats better the 55 sxrd or the 52" xbr4 or 5. I'm leaning towards the xbr4 or 5 if i can talk my wife into spending the xtra 3000

Found out something, Costco sells some models that u cannot find anywhere else (me thinks costco has the companies make a house special for them). I like the XBR version as they are like the Lexus vs Toyota comparison. B4 u purchase, price on line and including shipping u may get a better deal than at the Brick and mortar places. Also if u have the time, check out JVC's D ILA's line same LCOS (generic of Sony's SXRD technology). better price although Consumer Reports thinks less of them.LCOS is the generic term, D-ILA and SXRD are the trademark names

I have a KDS-50A2000 and love it (from BB, 1 yr old in 3/08). Back in the day, there were problems with these (and other TVs) and so if you got one of those bad apples it was going to suck having to return it to the store if purchased online. That was a major factor in my purchase and although I didn't have a problem with mine, I'm still glad I made a local purchase. The B&M stores have sales all the time. Superbowl Sunday is coming up and for sure a good time to buy.
