your firmware for your NEC drive is wayyyyyy out of date... yours is 2.16 .... it's up to 2.58! big difference! update your firmware here:
http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_search.php just put in your model # and download and install new firmware.

nero is not even recognizing your NEC drive......is this an external drive?

your computer is at 65% memory used.... don't multi task or go on the internet while running Nero.

your media is not that good! Prodis is not good media! Follow the MIJ rule..... MADE IN JAPAN..... use disks that say MIJ on the label or use Verbatim which is top notch media but made in Taiwan/Singapore.

    [bold]19:20:24 #15 Phase 36 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1746
Burn process started at 2.4x (3.324 KB/s) [/bold] writing too slow is just as bad as writing too fast..... try 4x!

    [bold]19:20:24 #21 CDR -1046 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 1780
    Illegal disc
F: _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG [/bold] I guess it doesn't like your disk! use better media!

where are the EXISTING DRIVERS? are you missing some of your Nero logs?
