i have been having this problem lately. Some games work fine, others in the same dir wont.

Also Resident Evil is doing this, but when it was working, it would save in game... any ideas?

Which flash cart/adapter are you using? It might be a problem specific to a certain brand of adapter.

oh yea, i guess that info would be helpful :p

pakixd is right, M3 MiniSD version, Passcard3 with the Kingston.

On resident evil, once it gave me the "couldnt read data" error, i turned off the DS and just ejected the passcard and put it back in and RE started up. but it still wont save, gives me a file save error.

Mario Kart DS (E) is the other game that gives me the "couldnt read data" error. But the eject and reinsert doesnt work on it.

I have checked the M3 wiki and only wrote the games to the SD they way that people have tested and confirm it works (for example, for RE, 4xDMA, No-trim, no soft-reset, no cheats). I have also tried different variations, such as 1xDMA etc. I tried 3 different ways for both the games.

Have you tried defragmenting the SD card? A badly fragmented card can sometimes cause this problem.

    problem solved.

i was using M3 game manager 22a, upgraded to 22b... go figure :p

i also did mario kart as normal read, dont know if it was the upgrade or the diff read method that works, but it does work now.
