ok i have a softmodded xbox i was wondering if i could still play xbox live on it withoput microsoft banning me. also i was wondering if it was possible to play on live using a backed up disc. if you could answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated
I being getting mixed answers on playing xblive with softmod some say all you have to do is turn off xbox with game inside and some say you can't and will be banned. As for your other question that a definite NO you can't do that, but what I heard is that you can play online with backups on xbconnect and xlia (I thinks that's what its called not sure) and its also free. ok i figuredit out you can but you need to have the original game copy and boot your xbox with it in it
Okay, if you want to get on xboxlive turn on your xbox using the bigger button (eject button) put in your halo2 disc or whatever you are using and close the disc tray. The game should load up has normal but you should be able to sign into xbox live without getting banned! P.S The only way the BUNGIE can ban you is if you go into a ranked game (matchmaking). So basically, dont be stupid!! DONT GO INTO MATCHMAKING you will get banned from matchmaking. But if you do, you can still play cusrom games, but no ranked games on xboxlive!
