i have a pentium 4 . it spins like crazy when i play games or run big applications, it make a lot of noise. My video card dosnt make that much noise when i play game i have a x850xt pe connect 3d. i was wondering why does it spin so fast is it because pentium 4's get real hot. i wanna buy a heatsink to replace the fan a quiet one real quiet. anyone have any ideas thanks
maybe you could download speedfan off the internet and adjust the fan speeds as long as your cooling is fine
it only speeds up when i run big applications or play games. mabey the cpu gets hot thats why i spins fast, anyways is there a good heatsink i can buy for cpu
I like my Zalman heatsink and fan. It is quiet, and the CPU and motherboard temps run about 15 degrees F cooler than the stock fan and heatsink that came with the CPU.
