CPU showing up as 2.41 instead of 3.0

    I have a amd athlon 4000+ and it is only showing up as a 2.41 instead of 3.0 Any suggestion of what this could be or how to fix it?

    the 4000+ is a 2.4Ghz chip, I don't know where you read 3.0Ghz.
