just got a new dell with vista,and when i go to shutdown and will not shut down...it stays at the shutdown screen,and once or twice a blew screen popped up
I think it has something to do with Windows Update. I had the same problem in May, just a while after I got Vista. Just wait a while (maybe an hour) and it will shut down. When You have done it a few times it shall shut down normally. At least this worked with me.
