Way too high temperature at the moment. Did you use silver or silicon thermal compound at all?

You would definitely benefit from some arctic silver and that board does report the temps high they are not accurate, i had exactly the same problem no matter what i did couldnt get the temps below 55. Had it confirmed by gigabyte that the bios intentionally reported high temps so i sold it and went back to abit. Just google that board and high temps and see you are not the only one...

I personally would beleive the bios, i know where you are coming from this problem did my head in even with my asetek water cooling my gigabyte board reported temps of 70 to 75. Even though it ran fine and stable i gave up and sold the board went back to an abit, more for peace of mind then anything.

Motherboard monitor temps are renowned for being WAY OUT! I would go with what the BIOS says.

True that gigabyte is notorious for being way out especially as it measures it on dye, The temp reporting only went way out with the newer bios revisions it reports it a good 10 to 15 possibly more degrees higher than it actually is. I do sympathise though you can get awfully paranoid about the temps when they say they are that high :))))
