    i want to buy a new cpu. What should i look at? what are good specs?

    moved to correct forum as not a windows issue.
    cpu as in the brain of the motherboard or whole new tower? if brain of motherboard the what is the make & model# of your pc or motherboard? if new tower then what is your budget?

    ive just upgraded to a quad core (Intel Q6600) and love it. Not to exspensive either!
