Crackling noise in mic

    hello all, I just recently built my own PC using a ASUS M2N32 WS PRO mobo with AMD procceser, lately i been hearing crackling noices in my mic and speaker's etc, I tried looking for a sound drive update for onboard but can't find one for it,im on vista, can it be that or hardware? i i change the port to front panel it goes, please help.

    Sounds like a hardware issue. Do you have your computer connected to a UPS? If not, you might try adding a UPS to help clean up any electrical noise. Do you have the same noise if you use headphones? If so, then it's not your speakers. If you don't have the problem with headphones, then you may have blown your speakers. Finally, it's normal to have some noise when using on-board audio. If it's really a big deal to you, then consider installing an add-on audio card.

    ok thanks, i got no UPS but should get one, i will look into a sound card and see if it helps =) thanks for the advice.
