crackling when I burn movies

    When I burn a movie I get crackling noises is this normal I was using Roxio 6 that came with my burner.
    I was told that was a bad program to use. I just want to figure out the crackling it is driving me nuts. Thank you

    You mean on the playback?, or like your drives short circuiting????????????????
    I use nero and don't get any strange noise, roxio shouldn"t either
