I have an older Dell Studio laptop that only has express 45 graphics chip

I stream ISO, MP4, x264,etc from external hard drive to my TV via HDMI

When I stream HD ISO files, there is not duplicate screen I only see video on TV and not laptop BUT the picture is great, no hiccups

When I stream online video or DVD, I have duplicate screens (TV at same time as laptop) but the video hangs a bit, stutters, almost looks like it is having trouble catching up

What in the world is causing this?

I have tried PowerDVD, VLC, etc same type of issue

    TY

What is a lower end used laptop that would do the job I need? I have read CPU is a lot more important than GPU when it comes to my issue
