CRC error

    Sometimes when i install a game from a install file or install it from a copied game cd i get a crc error saying a file dosent match a file in the games .cab file or something. I am wondering what this means. also sometimes after i burn the image to the cdr and try to install it it dosent work. It gets an error in the middle of the installation.Does this mean the bin file is corrupt or did i just burn it wrong. Please help

    1) Name the game your attempting to backup
    2) Provide your burner brand name and model #

    Your backups are failing because the game is cd protected (Safedisc or SecuROM).

    Hmmm....
    What Shoey said is right, but yet, i get the impression that you [bold]downloaded[/bold] a .BIN file and are trying to burn it?
    Or are you trying to [bold]copy[/bold] a game cd, original to backup or sumthin' like that?

    I scanned the bin file with clonyxxl and it gets a hardware error.
    i have a cyberdrv cw088d. it burns at 48x
