I'm pretty new to this compouter thing. I got a response of cyclic redundancy check while trying to use dvd shrink for a movie. What's my next step to get this fixed or is it an fixable problem.
hi, that could mean a dirty or damaged disc, but more than likely means the encryption is too new for DVD Shribk to handle. Try DVDFab Decrypter (free) - http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm to rip the movie to the hard disc then use DVD Shrink on the folder where DVDFab puts the files.. (DVDFab can handle the enryptions whereas DVD Shrink casn't as it's no longer updated, however Shrink is still excellent at what it does, just needs a helping hand with the newer encryptions sometimes)
