Ok Ive done searches, spent hours researching rebuilder and encoding, and have finally wound up with some video ts folders. I know you can use copy to dvd software but would it hurt to use shrink to turn it into and iso file. Or, am I just completely off base and theres some top of the line software Im not thinking of. Also if it helps: I used hc encoder and the dvd was my family guy volume 1 disc 1

the content of your video_ts folder could be burned to VIDEO DVD via nero for example

you will have to start nero and choose DVD-VIDEO

next drag and drop the files of video_ts from your harddrive into the video_ts folder in nero

use a moderate burn speed (definitely not the highest possible speed) and fire away

    by the way:
the pro version of dvdrebuilder will let you output to ISO and burn this iso right away

there is no such option in rebuilder
did you mean *output to iso image file*?

if you use this option in rebuilder you can easily burn the iso with e.g. dvddecrypter or its successor imgburn (or nero of course)

jlg895 meant he used the program folder to iso to create the iso. Instead of doing that just check output to iso in the mode tab as UncasMS_3 suggested and then an iso will be created along with the DVD files and you can take your pick on what to burn, saves time.
