I've been reading around at the different methods in creating GCN images, but one method I didn't find any information about is using Action Replay. I just got a Xeno GC chip, so I don't need to stream the games back to my system. All I need to do is somehow create an image of the game so I can burn it onto my mini DVD-R. Do I have my information mixed up, or can this actually be done using Action Replay and the BBA instead of PSO? I'd really appreciate anybody's help.. Thank you!
Store either GCOM or GCoS (or both if you like) onto your Action Replay and use either of those to stream the image to your PC. Also, I've read a few posts mentioning that GCoS is easy to transfer whereas GCOM has to be converted using the software that comes with Action Replay or Max Drive Pro before it can be transferred.
Awesome! Is there a step-by-step tutorial out there anywhere similar to the PSO one for this process? I've never used an Action Replay before, so any help would be wonderful.
Not that I know of. As far as I know, all you'd have to do is transfer the program to your Action Replay and follow the onscreen instructions once you run them.
