I am trying to create a movie presentation utilizing movie clips from different movies. I was told to use Windows Movie Maker but it won't accept the file types once I Decrypt the movie using DVD Decrypter. Am I going at this all wrong? I have been using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink to copy whole DVDs for my viewing pleasure but I would like to break some of these movies up into individual scenes for this presentation. I also need to add audio files to this presentation.

I am new at this, so any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Can you give us the error message, and also tell us what format the DVD's are in?
    I'm assuming there in MPEG?
    Or somthing like that..

This is the error message that I get: "The file C:\DVD_SHRINK\VTS_01_0.BUP is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker." or "The file C:\The Lion King\VIDEO_TS\VTS_21_1.VOB is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker."

I guess I need to understand how to change the BUP and VOB files into the video files that Windows Movie Maker accepts such as mpeg, avi, m1v, mp2, etc...

Basically I want to take a clip from the Lion King and a clip from a few other movies and create a video presentation with them for a project that I am putting together.

Ohh, do you still have the original file, without it in all the other stuff?
Just import it into there, and then shrink it, and then burn.
