I'm new here so forgive me if this has been asked a bunch already, but what I want to do is take the Windows media player files i have on my hard drive and create my own dvd's with them (with menus if possible) that will playback on a regular old home dvd player.
hi you will need an app that can convert from wma i htink your files are? to mpeg2 or dvd files, i cant think of one off hand but will have a think on it....
great, thanks for replying. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe there is a version of Nero that can do that?
Hi Rotary, I think you're reffering to DivxToDVD by vso. It will do just that WMV to DVD and the price is right Download it here: http://www.vso-software.fr/download.htm Cheers, Pete
hi hehe well when you try and help lots of people it gets wild man.... nar i did know an app as i just helped another guy with the same type file, i got this app to, to play with but you must pay for it, or only get 5 mins of encoding, which can cause its own probs! as we found out, its called ImTOO mpeg encoder, on the surface it does cartwheels and is all singing and dancing but the quality isnt A1 but ok, so i wont push it too much as divxtodvd is free.
i'm sorry for poking fun but i remember that other post the other day, when you said more or less the same thing. But i think you were helping about 4 people then..............lol
