Hey guys, I downloaded a bunch of music videos in VOB format, but there were no .IFO or .BUP files, and there's no way for me to find them. So is there some way I can create a DVD that'll work on a stand-alone DVD player without needing those 2 things? I want to just be able to hit Add File and select a VOB file and be ready to go.

Any help would be appreciated! :)

If your DVD player will play .mpg files off data DVDs then you can try
renaming the .vob files to .mpg then putting them through VCDGear
mpeg->mpeg conversion with "fix mpeg errors" box checked. Then just
burn a data DVD with the converted .mpg files.

Or you can do it "properly" as in this guide:

Most DVD Players will not Play those types of Disks....

All you have to do is use a DVD authoring Program Like "DVDLab" or "Tmpgenc DVD Author" and load your VOB files into the Program and add your Menu"s and Chapters and it will create New IFO,Bup files all formated in a Video_TS folder which it will then Burn to DVD and that is it......

Now that I think of it, I forgot that even though my DVD player will play an .mpg file off a data disc, it only played the first one. Then it craps out. So it's not the preferred method. :)
