Creating Half Life 2 Mods

    I saw some Half-Life 2 mods in the Steam program, but I didn't mess with them, because I didn't know what to do.
    Anyways, now I want to create my own mods.

    I want to start from the ground up, if you know how to make them, could you tell me what I need, and I may get stumped so have some paitence with me lol.

    All you need, well that and a few other programs.
