    Hi john11223,

You should be able to use DVD Shrink..

    Open Shrink
    Click on reathour
Browse to where your VOB files are
Drag the main title into the left window
Then just choose your compression settings and Backup as you normally would with Shrink...

    Hope that helps :)

You clicked on re-author and then browsed to the folder (in the right window pane) where your VOB files are and you dont see anything?

If that is the case then you will need to create your IFO and BUP files. this can be done easily with IFOEdit use tab button CREATE IFO and make the bup ifo for your vobs... Make sure you keep the bup and ifo files in the same directory (folder) as your vobs..

    Cheers

What method or software did you use to convert your AVI's to begin with?

OK I have developed a really easy process for this. Check out my website link is in my signature. Go to the guides and use the guide called "Convert any video file to DVD compliant files" This uses all free programs from start to finish DivXtoDVD, DVD Shrink, and DVD Decrypter. I think you will find this very usefull and easy..

    Link directly to guide http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/DivXtoDVD.pdf

Hope this helps you out cheers
