Hi. I'm a noobie to all of this. I have a Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 game and my CD got stepped on and broke. I cannot play the game without it. I do have it installed on my computer but I heard that I could "mount" a created image (or something) on a virtual drive. I've read most of these posts but it always has to do with creating an image off of a CD. Can this be done without a CD? I do have the file on the computer. And if so, which file do I mount? I tried to do it and have even set up a virtual drive using Alcohol 120% but even with the game mounted on the drive it says "please insert RCT2 disk". So I'm assuming I mounted it wrong. Can anyone PLEASE help me? i would really hate to go out and buy the game again. Thanks!!

The files on the CD cotain the setup info and a .exe file.
The file (ex setup.exe) uses these file to install the game on the PC.
So you have to have a copy of the CD not the program files that are on the PC.
Sorry, that is why you should do a backup first.
