Creating SVCD Subtitles for DVD Players??

    Hi i have heard that i cant create subtitles that can be played on a vcd but svcd allows subtitles is that tru?
    if it is could someone explaine please how is it done.

    After downloaded, install/run it. just need the input mpeg and the sub file(s). For each sub select the type "svcd". Also need to specify the output file. The output mpeg will contain the selectable svcd subs.
    Tip1: becouse U cannot watch the svcd subs on comp, try to verify them with the log file, created with Winsubmux, or burn it to a rewritable cd and check on your dvd player.
    Tip2: muxing subs will enlarge the mpeg file. In the case of a 50 min (about 1 CD) size mpeg the output will be 6-8 MB bigger. Calculate with this, when calculate bitrate.

    the problem is winsubmux supports only some stupid sub philips format!any converter out there?? Subtitle Workshop dont fully support format needed by winsubmux.
