i created a wmv file and encoded it with TMPGenc converting it to an mpg file for burning a VCD. But the result is picures with no sound. Can anyone please help?
Your First Mistake was Useing Windows Movie Maker your second Mistake was to render your Project in the Crappy assed low Quality WMV Format...You should have rendered the File in a AVI or DV AVI format and then encoded that file with tmpgenc...Tmpgenc doesn"t Like the WMV format very Much especially the audio and there is Nothing you can really do to get Tmpgenc to encode the WMA audio is it doesn"t want to...I would suggest that you Start Over again and this time Not render to WMV because WMV is Mostly for Web streaming which are usually low resolution Low Quality Files, and windows Movie maker isn"t even worth the Money you paid for it which is Nothing so it is worth even less than That, the Program is just a Ploy by Microsoft to get poeple to use there Sh*tty WMV Format...If you can"t start from Scratch with different Software or can"t render to an AVI format then you are going to have to find a way to extract the audio from the WMV File to Wav audio file and then use the Wav audio file as the audio source in Tmpgenc but what you can use to Extract WMV audio to Wav beats me.....good Luck
