cromwell or evox?? needed for linux!!!

    i want to run linux mandrake. if possible with the capability to run backup games and relax/xbmp. can linux be ran with evox bios? does it have to be booted from disk or hard drive? is cromwell required to run linux ? any feedback would be appreciated.
