    OK i have follwed various instructions on the web but I am still having problems FTPing to my XBOX.

    I dont own a router so I just grabbed a cross-over cable from work. I have created a EVOX boot disk with the following:

    SetupNetwork = Yes
    StaticIP = Yes
    Ip = 192.168.0.2
    Subnetmask = 255.255.255.0
    Defaultgateway = 192.168.0.1

    and I set my network card TCP options to use an IP Address of 192.168.0.2.

    But when I try to FTP to the XBOX (tried xbox:xbox and annon) the connection attempt times out.

    I assume I dont need my USB DSL modem connected to the web as this is just a internal network.

    If I change my computers TCP IP address and click apply I dont need to reboot the PC do I?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks people.

    You need to change your network cards IP Address to 192.168.0.1. Then once you apply it, I think you should restart just to make sure the settings change completely. Then it should work, thoughs are the exact settings I have.
