crossover settings

    i have a crossover inside loudspeakers and i wanted to know wat settings to have on it for my mid-range tweeter and my 10" woofer. it has options like 2K 2.5K and 4K wat is best?

    it mostly depends on how you like your sounds... i can't tell you how to set them because my room is different then your, plus the speakers and power. only thing i can suggest is set it like a wave pattern, starting with the lower frequencies set higher for your fronts, and drop the mid range a bit, then increase your highs. your center, the same way, but more mid range and high frequency... drop out on the bass for center, lower then the fronts. but really, its a matter of how [bold]YOU[/bold] like the way it sounds. keep in mind, one setting for a movie may not sound the same on another, due to movie itself, budget of movie, special effect, sound stage and setting, not to mention your equipment.
    by the way, what all do you have...? AVR, speakers, etc... ??
