(Crystal Fist) Backing up Unreferenced Material

    Hello all i wonder if anyone can help?I've got this movie i want back up (Crystal Fist) ,but the beginning of the film (up to the end of the titles) is in the unreferenced material bit when opening with dvd shrink.I dont seen to be able to rip this can antone help please?

    Thanks for your reply,but i dont think you have understood my question.
    Normal backing up is fine,there is a small portion of the movie that is in the unreferenced material section on the left hand side of dvd shrink.I cannot access these files.This is the opening credits of the film,i dont know why they are here it must be a mistake.
    I am quite a noob but know how to back up movies.
    Thanks for any help.

    Unreferenced material is a way of protecting the dvd from copying/backing up. Another proggie Ripit4me would check for unreferenced material and delete them from the back up.THe unreferened cells (vobs do not have an ifo or bup file associated with them and unless the backing up program is sophisticated enough, the proggie gets hung up and stalls out) are themselves the copying protection. Hence the protection from backing up. Yes they are not able to be opened and really of no use except to hinder the backing up process. Hope this helps.     Thanks for the reply mate,so is there no way of putting these opening credits onto te start of the film?
