Curiosity on the Closing of Threads

    Cant see why so many threads are being closed here at the minute. This is the Safety valve, though some do need to be closed, others dont. in particular the Scam thread, it had not run its due course......

    Would appreciate it being re-opened incase further replies are wanted...

    I aint closing them but cant/wont re-open them because they were obviously closed by a mod or admin,and they had their reason for it so its kinda up to them!

    I closed a few .. needless to say some of the threads really do not need to remain open ... the scams thread ... that was a casualty of war (and my thread too :p)

    Aliens no, stupidity yes. there have been alot of very pointless threads lately. Yes this is the safety valve and a place to vent or blow off steam or whatever, but i mean with threads like "if you read this you smell"?? i mean come on, lets try to be adult here people. nothing wrong with having fun but geez lets try to set a standard somewhere. As far as Oriphus's own thread being closed, that wasn't me. But i do kinda see where it was really a moot point, i mean come on man this is the safety valve, dont they ALL turn into your own thread at some point? ;-)

    Agreed. Its hard enough to moderate the scams and piracy posts but now to have to deal with stupidity -- if thats the case, ur all gonna see a lot of

    I kind of generally agree. The smell thread was stupid, But I wanted to play with the educated theoritical discussion of do we smell or do we just precivee smell. But It didn't get there, So sad.

    I have noticed thought that this happens. Just like last year. Oriphus and I go and rants, someone wakes up and closes all our chat threads. Remember this:
