Custom Ringtones for Motorola Razr V3t

    I recently just bought a Razr V3t (carrier T-Mobile) and have been unable whatsoever in getting my Razr to recognize mp3's as ringtones. I have a usb cable and can store pictures and mp3's, which are recognized. I tried using mpt but was unsuccessful. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks

    I tried using the audacity and lame and razorlame advice to but that didn't work.

    i also have the same problem

    i contacted motorola and they told me this,

    Regarding your concern, you are unable to use an music file as a ringtone, because they are stored to the transflash card, not the phone. Ringtones can only be selected if stored to the phone itself. The phone is designed to only transfer MP3 files from your PC to the phones memory card.

    haha rediculous right?
