I was thinking about buying the Max Drive Pro for the gamecube to do the Gcos 1.4 soft mod on my gamecube. But I don't want to take my gamcube apart or install A case mod or anything like that. But I want to use Full Sized DVD-R's on it (I am told they work better) So I was wondering. insted of replacing the case Could I simply trace around A gamecube game with A marker or something then cut around the markerline with A knife or something? or even cut the dvd into A small hexagon? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Just get mini DVD-Rs if you don't want to do a case mod. They work just as well.

Cutting a full size DVD-R down to a size that fits in the original case could only cause problems.

Best way to cut is maybe with somekind of sharp circle thing and press with that to cut. I saw somewhere that kind of thing.
And cutting with scissors damages disc. maybe carpet-knife would be good..

Looks like I am going to have to buy Mini-DVD's then. However if I do see A circle shaped object like described obeve I will try it out To see if it works. Thanks for the responses
