How do i trim an avi without all that re encoding? I just want the end of the movie cut, which contains all that credits, so I dont think those software needs to record the entire avi, just cutting the ending part of the file. Which software does this?

Never tried this but sounds good: Virtualdubmod.
    Open the avi
Find the beginning of the part you want to cut OFF, click the mark in button.
Go to the end of the part you want cut OUT, click the mark out button.
    Click Video, Direct Stream Copy.
Click File, Save AVI. give it a unique name.

The program I've used is Solveigmm, they have a free version.
It works but, due to how avi files are composed, it is not frame accurate.
Currently I've haven't found any AVI video editors that can do frame accurate editing. They all can only cut out sections at k-frames. Sometimes K-frame accuracy might work, but sometimes it's just not closed enough.
The reason I've used Solveigmm is because it's fast(doesn't re-encode avi) and it keeps the audio/video in sync.
