cutting mkv files

hi,
i have 2 700 mb live concert files in mkv format and need to cut out each song separately and burn it into a dvd that any dvd player can read. i guess i can use convertxtodvd for the latter but how do i cut it into separate files with the quality intact.

Never tried this but MKVMerge seems to have that ability: http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/doc/mkvmerge-gui.html (see automatic splitting and file linking), Avidemux too I think. If you own ConvertXtoDVD, that's fine but the trial will leave a watermark, use DVD Flick (free).
