I've been reading and trying for 2 days now. I'm ready to smash my head against the wall *LOL*. When I first started trying to update my CW600S my STB info read as: Model ID CX_Kround H/W Ver V1.00 S/W V1.34 Loader Ver V2.50 I received my receiver late June of 2007 and it got zapped around the end of July. So I downloaded CX_KroundV1.06_24138Chip.bin using the old Upgrade1.04V loader. I then used the UpgradeV1.05 to load the CX-LoaderV2.50.bin. After numerous attempts and having nothing work I downloaded the V1.37 bin. My STB info now reads: Model ID CX-Kround H/W Ver V1.00 S/W Ver V1.37 Loader Ver V2.50 I've followed all kinds of instructions. But I have a few questions.. I'm a little confused as to LNB1 and such. Can I only have one Satellite. I'm not even sure how to word this. Can I only have Ecostar 7 even tho when I press SAT on my controller it brings up Ecostar 7, Ecostar Packet and Bell Expressvu. On my Satelite List "All Satellites" is checked. What I guess I'm saying is do you need more than one dish to have LNB2 or LNB3? Ok, so I do a scan for Ecostar 7 and it brings up like 400 channels but they are all numbered. eg. Prog 345 etc. So then wait for that to finish, find myself a scrambled channel, enable the patch and sit and wait for auto roll. It doesn't happen. I shudder to think about adding keys. BTW I'm a pro at factory default now *LOL*. Can anyone see where I'm going wrong please? Thanks...Marilyn
marilynh i have sore head two as i know very little 2 i have 1 dish with 4 lnbs +2 technomate receivers, that gives me 2 options if i want to add more receivers to the spare lnb. so that means 1 sat/dish and 1 lnb = 1 receiver 1sat/dish and 2 lnb = 2 receiver etc etc however no matter how many receivers u have they pointed to one sat. all my info comes from astra sat because that is where it is pointed. if u want more sats. u need motorised dish expensive to set up or another dish.check with sat co.what size dish u need.i think the list on receiver is of sats but u sat dish is not pointing that way, imagine a clock aim the sat at 12 then look at 2 different direction alltogether.sats are in different areas of the sky.have u checked key codes on forums.hope this info is of use
