I got one at walmart yesterday, set up was easy but after trying to record on a Maxell +R ... i kept getting unkown disc error. It formats but after that it doesnt seem to recognize the disc at all. I went thru 3 different discs - all the same error messages. I am returning it to Walmart today!
I bought one of these. The remote only worked if I held it about 6 inches from the unit. I replaced the battery - that didn't help. Rather than go thru the hassle of returning it to Wal Mart, I decided to contact Cyberhome Custome Support. I tried to call for 3 days - spent about an hour on hold before I got someone - he told me to return it! Meanwhile, I had sent them an email 3 days ago - I finally got a response. I was told to be sure and point the remote directly at the unit!!! I would advise anyone who bought one of these to go ahead and return it now. Otherwise, if you ever need service - good luck!
i bought one few weeks ago works great little picky on the signal quality with an antenna though and dont put it near spaekers or on top of tv will make recordrd stuff sound distorted otherwise works great i recomend it
