My CH-DVR 1500 DVD/Recorder was workin for one year(Warranty covered, now it suddenly stopped working. Symptoms: The recorder was not responding to any functions(Play, stop, eject,etc.) so I turned off the power switch. Now, the light for the "ON/STANDBY" switch is very dim and the unit is not responding at all. Is this a Power related problem or can I reset this unit by by following some procedure.
We had the same problem. Go to their web page and you can send it back and get the newest model even if your warranty is over. We did.
