I have been getting close to 1TB of HD movies downloaded for my PS3 to play. 90% of the movies are in .m2ts format, and about half of them are 1080P.

I had a video/audio sync problem using MPC. I installed a copy of PowerDVD and it works great. I have a small problem that I can NOT figure out for the life of me.

How do I get PowerDVD to recognize an External Filter to decode the DD 5.1 or DTS?

On MPC, I would install it, then install the latest FFDshow or AC3 filter and then you can setup it up.

I can't figure out a way to get PowerDVD to initialize a filter.

Anyone who could help point me in the right directions, I would appreciate it.

i dont understand, bit too technical.

is it not playing the movie? (get a codec)

do you want to play a certain soundtrack? (should be in movie options AND in the player's audio settings)
