Cyclic Redunancy Check

    Hello all,

    I got this problem when I was trying to copy some files from my disk and onto my Desktop. It said Cyclic Redunancy Error.

    How ever I inserted another CD containing similar files and it copied perfectly, so I want to know is it a virus, Disk Error, DVD Drive Error, Memory Error or HD Error and also if I can fix it.

    i think it's a disc error, maybe some part of the data in your cd was damaged due to scratches. try it in another drive, if the new drive can't read it then the problem is the disc.
