whilst looking around on many sites this caught my eye

    http://www.mobymemory.com/products/MobyMemory/CycloDS-Evolution-8GB-Mega-Pack.asp

The features seem to match the R4 and the m3 seris however here are some that i find blindingly good.

Soft reset. something that was missing from many homebrew devices.

Wii connectivity. the m3 simply on at least firmware 1.10 doesn't work, i haven't a wii another chance to test a wii with new firmware/hardware.

Full NDS download play support. In my eyes this is the holy messiah.

Supports the MicroSDHC. not nessessary for me but a feature in future is a must.

and probably the most powerful feature.

'"Enhanced Mode" which provides powerful, unique features during game play. Enhanced features are activated through an in-game menu. Enhanced mode features include: RealTime Save which allows you to save and restore the state of gameplay at any time'

This may already be a feature on others and if so please for the love of pete tell me so but the ability of saving at any point allows for luck cheating on pokemon games (ie always critical hits) can save just before a boss instead of repeating a level etc.

is this a major player or not?

or am i over reacting(please note i am a noob)

I have an M3 Simply and a CycloDS evo and the evo is easily the better. It does what it says on the tin, backups work great, and even the realtime save is working at the moment. The only thing that I have against it is that it lacks the stability and experience that the M3 team have...so some bugs have been present. One being a random error about fragmentation pops up every now and again.

A good point is that they are the same team that made the Cyclowiz...so we can expect similar support for this product as well.

The only other annoying thing about this that they have not mentioned is that the Wii Pokemon connectivity only works with NTSC at the moment. I have a UK version of pearl, and a PAL backup of Battle Revolution and I just get a white screen. Seems others are having this problem too.

Other than this its a great card and I think it will only get better with time...easily one of the best out there.

Oh and one last thing...I think that Wii connectivity and Download play run in similar ways...You may want to watch out and see if other PAL/UK users are getting Download play working or if they are getting similar Wii errors.
