Peculiar issue this evening. I have 2 D****boxes. Came home from work and one was frozen (not an entirely unusual occurrance). I cold started this box but channels would not clear. Other box was working fine. I checked the k**list.txt file on working box and discovered that a k** update occurred at roughly 18.38 - but this update did not happen on other box. I pasted new key to the offending box and all was OK. I then got a call from a friend with a similarly frozen box. Anybody got an idea what's going on? Any similar experiences this evening with N*L in Dublin?
Thks DesB. Usually an update would be handled fine. Even if box was unplugged when update happened, it would sort itself out after a few mins. Not tonight though. Interesting. I haven't seen my m8s box yet....won't see it till tomorrow. Will let you know. Thks again.
Similar situation here in Dublin city centre. Nagra rom had been auto-updating fine for the last few weeks, but not today. Analogue signal is fine, so the weather isn't an issue.
