Hi, I recently ordered 2 boxes from germany and after it arrived, I tested it and 1 picked upp all the channels and is working perfectly fine whilst the other picked up no channels when doing a service scan. I asked the seller and he says that the signal in my area must be weak and some d boxes can handle it whilst others can't. He's basically told me to get a cable amplifier. I have no idea where to get this from and am not sure which one would be the correct one. could someone please help me on this ?! Is what he saying true ? is that possible ? and does anyone have any pictures of what the cable amplifier will look. Thanks a lot for your help in advance guys
Does it have the sportster image? sportster Sometime the Cam has to be restarted. I use evocamd and its good as gold. Try remote button blue, blue, emu selection, then evocamd. Then try this Press DBOX on remote control. you are now in the main menu go to service - then push ok go to servicescan - push ok - SCAN FOR SERVICES to TV & RADIO - Bouquet press OK untill create new or erase all - cable provider - switch to cable bruteforce or cable provider to SYM6887 for NTL or SYM6952 for Telewest (try both) fast scan - off manual scan off then above push start scan with ok button scan during 30 min to 1 hour. then you should have all channels - Hope it works.
