I'm a newbie to using a DAEMON and need some help...

A few weeks ago I burned images of all four install disks onto four seperate DVD+RW disks using DAEMON. This worked fine until I had to reformat my computer due to a virus.

Having reinstalled Windows, my image on the virtual drive was lost. I still have the four burned disks with the installation. Is it possible to re-install the game using these four disks? If so, how would I do that? I run into problems whenever I have to switch to Disk 2. Thanks for any help!

We can't talk about piracy so don't mention that here(and you didn't).

anyways I'm not sure why you would be using a virtual drive if you have the actual discs. The whole purpose of a virtual drive is so you don't have to have a disc.

since you have the disc's you don't need daemon tools.Simply pop the disc into the drive and it should auto start and when it asks for the next one pop it in and it will continue. If it doesn't go when you put in disc 2 then disc 2 is either burned wrong or corrupted.

If you have the original iso's still you can use those with daemon tools and just mount it.

By the way daemon doesn't burn discs.

    Thanks for the info.

On the discs I have the image of each CD's installation. They are in the .xmd format. This presents the problem of being unable to run the image when the second CD is required.

    Maybe I am missing something?

Hmmm that's interesting that it's in .xmd format. The .xmd is a gamejack virtual drive file.I don't think daemon tools supports it but when you mount with daemon it'll have "all image files" click the drop down box and click "all files".

Just drag and drop the files from your discs to your desktop(or make a new folder) and forget about the discs.

It may be the second disc is corrupted or burned wrong too.

If you need some new games just send me a personal message with your email address and I'll send you a guide.

Long story short, I got the discs to work.

Now it just won't run the first disk to play the game.

    Argh! :)
