    Hi
I get an error "Cannot open AVI." whenever I try to update spybot or Use Magic ISO

I'm not trying to open a video file but installing something.

I've been looking at the web and they say its a vista problem? Something with a folder animation?

The problem is I can't find any settings or dialogue box to uncheck this option. I can't even find a way to uninstall vista. Please help. Thanks.

Since Vista is still a beta, it may be difficult to track the issue. If you have upgraded the system from XP to Vista, you must format and install XP again to go back. There is no uninstall of the beta, but should be when it goes gold.

As far as the XP problem with the transformation pack, uninstall it.

The transformation pack may be cute and all, but I've seen alot of people post about having all kinds of compatibility issues with programs.

You can do the same thing individually with programs such as WindowBlinds, Cursor XP and IconPackager. With those, you can get XP looking so much like Vista, you wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't. (there's even a 3D window program that does the same as Vista's GUI - and others like SphereXP and Looking Glass that do even more)
