Doesn't look like it likes your blank media. What brand and media code are your discs?

    crazy_hl,
    Welcome to the forum
1.Set the burn DVD size to 4300. You are burning too close to the Outer Rim
Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB)
Last address to be written: 2286111 (508:01.36, 4465MB)

    2. Update Nero.
    3. Nero did not recog the burner: Updating might help

when you get these showing on the log, like suggested,it means crap are unknown media

[bold]there should be a bunch of numbers here[/bold]

    [bold]relates to unknown/cheap media[/bold]

[bold]it should list the ID CODE here[/bold]

also, remove the serial number for nero (1a20..****** etc)

if you think you are using good media, then try updating the firmware on the burner you have

    best of luck

Your media could still be the problem. Cheap poor quality media tends to be very incosistant, you might get 5 good burns and then all at once you get 5 coasters or have problems like you are experiencing and not being recognized. Besides those backups you made on poor quality media may not play in a few months. For video reproduction you need to use good, high quality, proven media. The cheap stuff will normally work fine for backing up files or data but I still wouldn't trust it for that. Some good high quality media is (in order of my personal preferance) verbatum datalifeplus (azo dye), genuine taiyo yuden, maxell, fuji, sony, ricohjpn, and branded ritek ridata. Stay away from memorex, no name brands and retail store branded media.

Get the media code of those discs you are useing with this free proggy http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/ and let us know what it is.
