dash board gone? need help

hey guys, i look in the threads but didnt see anything to help me, i resently softmoded my xbox with splinter cell and it worked fine but it was in like french, well i was trying to backup the file and i clicked on as options then i believe i hit restaurer fichiers d'origine and then restarted the xbox and it wont load the dash but i put the splinter cell game in and it loaded it. I was wundering if anyone can help me fix my problem so i have a dash again?

i forgot to add when it starts up without game it has a number 13 in the left top coner. thanks

 

burnt games do not load but normal games load

 

error 13 means your bios can't find a dashboard to launch.....have you tried to re install a dashboard?

 

how do i reinstall the dash board?
is there any way i can use my chiped xbox to fix it?
