hy ijust downlloaded evo m7 iswithed it from a rar file to my bin. i flash my xbit and set switches. when i turn my xbox on it stats up normal. (am i going in the right direction?) how do i change my start up screen? do it suppose to start normal? if yes what next?
you just flashed the bios of your xbox. you'll find out if you're successful if it loads your backup games. assuming it was a success, and since you didn't mention installing evox/unleashx/avalaunch, etc., i would assume you're still booting up to the microsoft dashboard (that's the green glow at startup then you have a glowing orb that shows settings,music, memory, etc.). you now have to replace that dashboard to start maximizing your xbox's potential. try to find the program for the evox dashboard (recommended for newbies), burn it to a cd-rw or dvd-r, install it then put in some other apps (dvd2xbox,boxplorer, etc.) . do a google search on this one. you should also start considering upgrading your hard drive to have a bigger memory capacity.
